The Resource Coordinator primarily works alongside the Industry Development Manager to identify and address priority issues in the Newfoundland and Labrador Agriculture Industry. This position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, an ability to multitask, work independently, and meet project deadlines.
General Responsibilities:
Prioritize and complete tasks in accordance with deadlines
Preparation of reports and funding applications
Stakeholder engagement
Assist with meetings and note taking
Compile information and materials for projects and meetings
Collaboration with Provincial and Federal Government representatives, as required
Data entry, as required
Assist with coordinating NLFA events and training sessions
Relationship building
Other related duties as required by the Industry Development Manager
Education and Experience:
A Degree/Diploma from a recognised institute in Agriculture, Business, Project Management, and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in the Agriculture industry
Experience writing reports and funding applications
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of programs, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Experience collaborating with Government agencies and stakeholder groups (asset)
Knowledge of the Newfoundland and Labrador Agriculture industry and associated commodity groups (asset)
Knowledge of Agriculture funding sources in Newfoundland and Labrador (asset)
Compensation and Other Details:
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $46,000 - $52,000 per year
Vacation: 2 weeks annual paid vacation plus paid public holidays
Hours: 37.5 hours/week
