Membership Overview

The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture (NLFA) has launched its new member benefits program: AgriVantage! See below for details on how you can become a member of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture and how we can save you thousands of dollars!

Joining:

Joining the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture is a quick and easy process. Dues for the NLFA are based on your farm gate revenue. Click here and submit the attached form to the NLFA with a cheque made payable to "Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture" for the corresponding dues. Upon receiving your membership application the NLFA will send you a confirmation package fully detailing your benefits and this will include your AgriVantage benefits card!

National Car Rental

For the rental requirements within Newfoundland & Labrador, National is offering the following rates:

Above vehicles have Unlimited Kilometers. A 15% discount is provided for all business outside of the province. The membership card must be shown at the rental desk when picking up the vehicle.

Choice Hotels

Choice Hotels is offering 15% off their regular rates at their locations outside of Newfoundland and Labrador. For savings within the province, AgriVantage members can avail of the reduced rates at Steele Hotels. Choice franchises hotels under several brands throughout Canada, including Comfort, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Econo Lodge, and Rodeway Inn. In the United States, Choice also operates hotels under the name Main Stay Suites.

Mark’s Work Wearhouse is offering AgriVantage members a discount of 10% off most items. AgriVantage members are entitled to a 10% discount on:

Nfld. Kubota Ltd.

All active members of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Agriculture will receive:
• 20% off the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) on all new Kubota-branded power units, both Tractors and Construction Equipment.
• 10% off the MSRP on all new Kubota-branded implements. Regular freight, pre-delivery & delivery charges, and all applicable taxes, are extra.
• A 10% discount on Kubota parts (with a suggested retail price less than $500)
• A 10% discount on in-house labour.

These discounts cannot be taken in conjunction with any other sales allowances and incentives or retail finance incentives. However, standard rate financing is available on approved credit.

Orkin Pest Control

Orkin is offering AgriVantage members 10% off pest control services at all their locations throughout Newfoundland and Labrador.

Farm Credit Canada - AgExpert Software

Members will receive a 10% discount on the purchase of AgExpert Analyst or AgExpert Field Manager PRO software from the AgExpert website.


Irving Oil

AgriVantage members on the Avalon Peninsula can avail of discounts on furnace oil and diesel from Irving Oil which are based on fuel consumption. The rates listed below are listed for farms using more or less than 50,000 litres:

Western Petroleum

AgriVantage members on the island portion of the province, outside of the Avalon Peninsula (which is served by Irving Oil), can avail of discounts on the per-litre rate of furnace oil and diesel. The rates are based on location, by fuel zone, and volume.
