Cattleman's
Association of Newfoundland and Labrador
The Cattleman’s Association of NL represents all the segments
of the cattle industry in the province. This includes cattle producers,
abattoir operators, and community pasture operators. There are approximately
30 members located throughout the island, with the majority on the
east coast. The Cattleman’s Association deals with issues
relating to any of those industry segments.
The Association’s Board of Directors is made up of five members
– a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Representatives
of the Eastern and Central-Western regions. One of the objectives
of the Cattleman’s Association of NL is to communicate to
government the issues which are important to the cattle industry,
such as obtaining more funding for pastures.
